Baby Dumping at Malaysia

Credit to Google Image.

CHILD are gift from Allah S.W.T, but the facts is baby dumping is the one of the most critical issue in Malaysia, and yes it always increasing every year. Most everyday, there are several number of babies found in dustbin, river, and even at unexpected place such as travelling bag. The question is, how they can vainly kill those babies and sometimes died in the situation that we cannot accepted by most people because the ways they treat the baby are to cruel and cold-blooded.

Baby dumping refer to the person who throw out or disposed it in such unexpected ways. Mostly, among teenagers always involved in this situation. Some of them, give a birth in the toilet and throw them out or give a birth in motel room and leave the killed baby in the bathroom.

Some of reason why the number of baby dumping increasing everyday year is lack of sex education. Some people protest about this sex education because by exposing this sex education in schools in such young age, some of children cannot adapt this situation even trying to do this. Parents plays the important parts of this. Some parents think their children will understand about this sex when they grow up. They should give positive thinking about sex and the effect of this if they trying to do this at young age or without married.

The second reason is about community. Most of the community will blame the teenager if they having baby illegally. In Islam, its wrong having a child without married, but it does not mean the community have to put all the blame into them. They should find out the reason first why teenager being like that and at least they can safe the babies from being killed or throwing out in such cruel ways and decrease the baby dumping at Malaysia.

Lastly, the parents, the teenagers itself and the community plays the important rules to reduces the number of baby dumping.

WORLD POVERTY

Rule of threes. Phrase for boundaries of human being. People can stand without air, within 3 minutes. No water within three days and he will die. Human can stand last long for only three weeks without food. Again, Rule of threes. Show us human limits and boundaries. Specifically, out of many aspects with selective condition. Here, we talked about World Poverty. No money, no talk, people said. Significantly, world poverty and hunger are two issues that cannot been separated.

Generally, world poverty rise many issues that give an impact to the population of people. Just imagine for almost everyday, 25,000 people are dying and unprepared to death because of poverty and hunger. With that, nowadays 25,000 people decreased day by day because of one issue WORLD POVERTY. Most of that are children. It shows, how serious this matter but as people said, WE ARE SURVIVAL of our life.

Statistics shows, based on 2012 research indicates that almost half the world with over 3 billion people that live on less than $2.50 a day. The differences of the development of each country express the ranking or groups that show where the country had been with their development. Out of sudden, another three terms created, first world country, second world country and third world country. In fact, these poor people come from third world country and most of them at Asia follow by Africa that indicates the second largest poor population in the world.

From the facts itself, we assuming that disease that bring to death is the main reason why a huge number of people decreasing. But then, the first main problem is LACK OF FOOD. Lack of food will cause lack of nutrition or MALNUTRITION. Because of that, no immunization through in and out of your body to resist disease, not enough protein and minerals to provide your energy and because of that, our body losses functions including essential amino acid provision and development and maintenance of muscles.

How we can contribute to help this kind of problem? Since, we do not have a big authority or power such a President of our country, having a campaign or awareness day could less the suffer of this kind of people. Do boycott the planning to have a war and also weapons mass destruction as this waste so much money to that country. Rises a fund that contribute to this matter consistently as people world-wide should contribute and help each other to decreased the number of people death everyday because of HUNGER. IPA (Innovations for Poverty Action) is one of the NGO’s that been established at 2002 to help those kind of people to give value and works to retain poverty. They do research how to enhance these people lifestyle by designing and evaluating programs to help the world’s poor. With that, a support from many body and NGO’s will enhance this development work. DO SUPPORT IPA! WE SUPPORT IPA!!

Different Belief of Ghost

In our opinion, we learn three types of ghost which are vampires, ‘chiang-shih’ and ‘pontianak’ in which all three course are different in term of character and appearance.

Vampires are mythology or folkloric who is being subsisted by feeding or draining the blood of living beings. The term of vampire was popular at early 18th century after an influx of vampire superposition into Western Europe from the areas where vampire legends were frequent. This term also often applied to similar legendary creatures from other regions and culture.

The characteristics of vampire are basically creatures of the night and enter a come-like vampire sleep during the day. It was said that they have red eyes and are cold when have skin contact with human. In addition, vampires are said have some unusual “supernatural” attributes. It also was said that they have great strength to fly, can hypnotic power to human, and can undergo a transformation into a variety of animals. Vampire avoid sunlight symbols as the cross and holy water and may need to sleep on their native soil. They may killed by a wooden stake thrust in their heart or by fire.

‘Chiang-shih’ is the vampire of Chinese version. In Chinese belief, each person has two souls, a superior or rational soul and an inferior irrational soul. The superior soul could leave a sleeping body and appear as the bodies double as it roamed about. The other hand, the inferior soul which inhabited the body of fetus during pregnancy and often lingered in the bodies of dead.  Usually ‘chiang-shih’ was created after a particularly violent death such as a suicide, hanging, drowning or smothering. It also could be a result of an improper burial.

The characteristic of ‘ching-shih’ is only appear at nocturnal hours and had difficulties crossing running water. The legend was said that they are vicious by ripped the head or limbs off their victims. It also was said they have strong sexual drive which led them to attack and rape women. After a period of growing stronger, ‘chiang-shih’ would gain the ability to fly, grow long white hair and possibly change into wolves.

Vampire of Malay and Indonesian version is called ‘pontianak’.  ‘Pontianak’ also known as a ‘matinak’ or ‘kuntilanak’, sometimes shortened to ‘kunti’. ‘Pontianak’ is often being confused with ‘langsuir’. ‘Pontianak’ are said the spirits of women who died while pregnant while ‘langsuir’ is the ghost of a woman who died while giving birth. ‘Pontianak’ was said kills their victims by digging into their stomach with its sharp fingernails and devouring their organs. In other cases, Pontianak will desires revenge against a male individual by rips out the sex organs with its hands.

The physical appearance of ‘pontianak’ are usually depicted as pale-skinned women with long hair and dressed in white. They also are said able to be a beautiful appearance since they prey on men. In folklore, a ‘pontianak’ usually announces its presence through baby cries. If the cry is soft, it means that the Pontianak is close and if it loud, it means they are far. The other way to know the appearance of ‘pontianak’ by dog whining, it means that it was nearby. Its presence can be detected by a nice floral fragrance identifiable of the plumeria followed by an awful stench afterward.

Step Up Revolution vs Street Dance 3D

Basically, both of these movies are about dance. Most of the plots in both movies are dance part which we find very interesting to watch them. Even though we do not know how to dance, but we feel very excited to follow the dance steps in the movies. The differences in both movies are the characters, setting and moral values. Actually there is a little bit difference in the plot of both movies. But it is almost the same.

For Step Up Revolution movies, it is a movie of a dance crew who want their voices to be heard. The crew consists of people around the world. The leaders Sean, Eddy and Jason create The Mob. After they get off work, they sneak into the Dimont Hotel's beach club, claiming to be guests, not employees. Meanwhile, across the club at the bar, Emily tries to get the waiter's attention, but ends up preparing her own beer. Sean, who is immediately smitten by her, asks for a beer. Emily instead heads down to the beach to dance, resulting in a dance battle between the two, but ending when Emily suddenly runs off. Then, Emily tells Sean that she want to have an audition for ballet competition. Sean ask her to try break the rules for her routine in ballet. Emily then ends up at Miami Museum of Fine arts where The Mob makes the statue and paintings come to life. Next day, Emily persuades Sean to include her to the next Mob which is scheduled in a restaurant next week. Eddy started to dislikes her and gives her lead to test her. The Mob goes well and Eddy admits that Emily is best dancer. Next, Emily's father Bill Anderson plan to destroys Ricky's Restaurant, Sean's home and many others to build another building. After that, Sean, Eddy and Emily decides to plan the Mob at Emily's father office which shows that they protest the development plan. Unfortunately, Eddy knows that Emily is daughter of Bill Anderson. He then reveal to Bill that Emily protest her own father. This ruins relationships for Emily with Sean (romantically), Sean and Eddy (friendly), Bill and Emily (trustfully), and the rest of the Mob. She ignores Sean, and as a result fails her audition for Winwood. Eddy and Sean were sent to jails and Ricky bails them out. Eddy and Sean makeup and plan for the next Mob in which they want to reveal their identity. Then all Step Up characters are called by Jason to do their last Mob.  Bill decides to build up the community rather than tear it down, Sean and Emily make up, and Eddy makes a deal with the owner of Nike for the Mob to dance in the commercials.

In Step up Revolution, we learn that honesty is important in friendship. Emily and Sean do not honest to Eddy that Emily is actually the daughter of Bill Anderson. Besides, Bill also should let her daughter do whatever she wants to do. In this case, Emily wants to be a dancer in which her father wants her to work with him. The characters in this movie are such as Ryan Guzman as Sean, Khatryn McCormick as Emily, Misha Gabriel as Eddy and many others.

For Street Dance 3D movies, it is more or less like Step Up Revolution in which it is about dance. But for Street Dance 3D, it is more to dance battle in which they battle to be the best group dancer. The leader, Jay leaves the group and they loses their rehearsal place. Then, Carly, Jay's girlfriend found a space in a ballet school on condition, they must include five ballet dancers in their routine. At first, they struggle to get along, but lastly they all become close to each other. During dancing battle in a club next night, the team learn that Jay betrayed the team by joining the rival crew, The Surge. Carly pissed off and nearly to be hit by a car and Thomas saves her. Another teacher at the Ballet School, outraged that her student being corrupted, deliberately plans a Royal Ballet audition for same day as the Street Dance finals. In an attempt  to give them more time to wait for the ballet dancers, Carly's friend, Eddie goes out onto the dance floor and starts dancing, surprising the crew and wowing the audience. The ballet team turns up at the final anyway and their teacher Helena drives the Royal Ballet judges so they can see the dancers perform. The routine of hip -hop and the ballet is a success. In this movie, it is important to have teamwork and good team-leader. Jay is no a good team-leader in which he betrayed the group and not loyal to his group members. Besides, the other moral values in this movie is trust. When Carly trust her new members, which are the ballet dancers, she can teach them easily and they can perform well in the finals. The characters in his movie are such as Nichola Burley as Carly, Richard Winsor as Thomas, Ukweli Roach as Jay and other characters. As a conclusion, both movies are almost the same which all about dances. The moral values in both movies are good for learning. That is why we choose both of this movies.  As a conclusion, both movies are almost the same in which it is all about dances. The moral values in this movie are good for learning. That is why we choose both movies.

Fairy tale Story

Based on Wikipedia, fairy tale is a type of short story that typically features folkloric fantasy characters, such as fairies, goblins, elves, trolls, dwarves, giants, mermaids, or gnomes, and usually magic or enchantments. Fairy tales may be distinguished from other folk narratives such as legends (which generally involve belief in the veracity of the events described and explicitly moral tales, including beast fables. Our favorite fairy tales are Cinderella and The Ugly Duckling. I choose both of these fairy tales because the moral values in both of these stories is good for learning.

There are many version of Cinderella stories such as Vietnam version, Korean version and et cetera. Our story is taken from Perrault. Basically, the summary of Cinderella story is about a girl who lost her mom when she was born. Then, her father married a proud and haughty woman as his second wife. She had two daughters, who were equally vain and selfish. By his first wife, he'd had a beautiful young daughter, a girl of unparalleled goodness and sweet temper. The Stepmother and her daughters forced the first daughter into servitude, where she was made to work day and night in menial chores. She would often arise covered in cinders, giving rise to the mocking nickname "Cinderella". One day, the Prince invited all the young ladies in the land to a ball, planning to choose a wife from among them. The two Stepsisters gleefully planned their wardrobes for the ball, and taunted Cinderella by telling her that maids were not invited to the ball. As the sister went to the ball for party, she cried in despair. Her Fairy Godmother magically appeared and immediately began to transform Cinderella from house servant to the young lady she was by birth, all in the effort to get Cinderella to the ball.

She turned a pumpkin into a golden carriage, mice into horses, a rat into a coachman, and lizards into footmen. She then turned Cinderella's rags into a beautiful jeweled gown, complete with a tenuous pair of glass slippers. The Godmother told her to enjoy the ball, but warned that she had to return before 12 midnight, when the spells would be broken. At the ball, all eyes are on Cinderella especially the Prince. The Prince had become even more infatuated, and Cinderella in turn became so enchanted by him she lost track of time and left only at the final stroke of midnight, losing one of her glass slippers on the steps of the palace in her haste. The Prince chased her, but outside the palace, the guards saw only a simple country girl leave. The Prince takes the slipper and vows to find and marry the girl to whom it belonged. Meanwhile, Cinderella kept the other slipper, which did not disappear when the spell was broken. The Prince tried the slipper on all the women in the kingdom. When the Prince arrives at Cinderella's villa, the stepsisters tried in vain to win over the prince. Cinderella asked if she might try, while the stepsisters taunted her. The slipper fitted perfectly, and Cinderella tried the other pairs for good measure. The Prince married Cinderella and both her stepsisters ask for her forgiveness.

First of the moral in Cinderella story is beauty is a treasure, but graciousness is priceless. Without it, nothing is possible but with it, one can do anything. Second moral is without doubt it is a great advantage to have intelligence, courage, good breeding, and common sense. These, and similar talents come only from heaven, and it is good to have them. Other moral is when we are patient, one day we can get happy ending.

Image credited to: Here

The other fairy tale that we choose are The Ugly Duckling story. As what we have read when we still a little child, we know that the story is about one ugly duckling which is actually a swan misplaced and live with family of geese. After all the eggs have been hatched, one of the ducklings is ugly and bigger than others. The mother itself cannot accept that it was hers. All of his brothers did not want to play with him. He felt very sad and lonely but his mother does her best to console him. One day, he ran away from the farm. Then, he saw a flight of beautiful birds’ wing overhead. White, with long slender necks, yellow beaks and large wings, they were migrating south. However, by the spring, he grown so big and he were set free by the pond. That was the time when ugly duckling saw himself mirrored in the water. It is also the time he realize that he was one of the beautiful swan and he was the finest among them all.

Image credited to : Here

Some of the moral values in the story are such as do not judge a book by its cover. The duckling was ugly at first but grown up as a beautiful swan. So, we cannot judge something by its appearance. Though it was ugly, but maybe he was one of the finest when he grown up. Next moral value is believed in yourself. Even though you are not beautiful, you must believe in yourself. Be confident and proud in yourself.

Abusing and Bullying-Kill innocent people.

Nowadays, there are many issues on killing innocent people. Some of the victim are usually been abuse before they kill the victim. Besides, there are also stories of maid abusing their employer's children. As for our's opinion, it is really cruel to kill innocent people. When we put the situation to our self, for example when our's children is being abused, we get mad, furious and so on. It is the same when other's children are abuse even more are killed. Children can never be replaced. There is a true story on abusing and killing innocent people. The story is about a girl was kidnapped and tortured with very unimaginable ways.

True Story about JUNKO FURUTA

This is real story that happened round 24 years ago in Japan late 1980's. A 17 years old girl named Junko Furuta was kidnapped and then tortured by 4 boys with very unimaginable ways and finally death after 44 days.

  • Left nipples cut and destroyed with pliers.
  • Heavy bleeding from vagina due to scissors insertion.
  • Stabbed with sewing needles in chest area.

Day 40:
  • Begged her tortures to "kill her and get it over with".

January 1, 1989:
  • She greets the New Year Day alone.
  • Body mutilated and unable to move from the ground.

Day 44: Jan 4 1989
  • Due to the lost of Mah-Jongg as reason- the tortures beat her mutilated body with an iron barbell.
  • She is profusely bleeding from her mouth and nose.
  • The tortures put a candle's flame to her face and eyes.
Then, lighter fluid was poured onto her legs, arms, face and stomach, and then lit on fire. This final tortures lasted for two hours. She died later on that day, in pain and alone. Nothing that could compared of 44 days of suffering she had go through.

JUSTICE?
Unfortunately, her killer are now free. Justice was never served, not even after 20 years. They deserve more than punishment. What they did to this girl is something that unimaginable cruel. There are rumors that apparently they're proud of what they did.

Let's together pray for her.
